Weekend on the Eastern Shore

There are plenty of things to do for guests staying at B&Bs in the Eastern Shore region, during the last weekend of January. (1/23-1/25) This region includes: Brampton Inn, Crowfarmstay B&B, Great Oak Inn, Inn at Huntingfield Creek, and Moonlight Bay. A wine and chocolate pairing, a local production of Lost in Yonkers, and a live classical concert will keep guests of these B&Bs busy all weekend long.

Crow Farm and Vineyard is having a wine and chocolate pairing on Saturday the 24th from 12-5pm. Tickets for the event are $10 and features award winning Crow Wine varieties coupled with fine chocolates from Nolia Chocolates. The vidal blanc wine will be paired with the rosy goat truffle. While the rose wine will go along with either the lemon pepper or triple vanilla truffle. The Crow Farm barbera will be paired with either sea salt caramel or raspberry champagne truffle. The Churchill Theatre in Churchill, MD is putting on a rendition of the famous Lost in Yonkers comedic drama written by Neil Simon. This memory play runs through mid February and has shows on Friday and Saturday at 8pm and one show on Sunday at 2pm. Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for Churchill Theatre members, and $10 for students. The Churchill Theatre is located at 103 Walnut St. in Churchill, MD. Kent Chamber Music is putting on a concert showcasing a harp and flute duo on Saturday the 24th at 7pm. Tickets can be bought at the event for $15, and the concert is located at Washington College in the Hotchkiss Hall and Gibson Center for the Arts.
